Haha, are there any photos WITHOUT the girl in them? :P
I've signed up to the site Datto, I'm thinking of doing the Sat 17th normal sprints (don't have a Mini, but can't wait to watch them ) but I notice only one or two people have booked. What happens if you don't get many EOIs on the site, do you still go ahead or not? For the AASA licence, is it seriously just fill in the forms and send them off or is there some sort of test etc? Also, can anyone recommend any shops around Brissy (Apart from Extreme at Northgate, been there) that sells all the safety gear?

yeah casey took a heap on the track
http://www.casey.trackattack.com.au will also get move drifting in over the week scheduled events always go ahead no matter what you will find that a lot of people only add their name to the list the week of the event some of them justs end the forms without worrying about the list. we should get a full group of mini's and a full group of regular cars yeah the AASA license is just fill out a form and pay the money http://www.trackattack.com.au/forms/...pplication.pdf Qld Raceway sorts out the licenses. Cheers Jeff |

Do yourself a favour and see John or Craig at GP Cars on Bishop Street at Kelvin Grove. They've always been great to deal with, very helpful and are a pair of smart asses in the nicest possible way.

Great day, thanks Track Attack team and jeff,
Took out fastest Z for the day ( stock Historic production Sports CAMS logbooked 280Z, with stock solid front discs and calipers and rear drumbrakes!!, built moter but !) Shame the lime green supercharged Z wasn't able to have a proper go (got pinged for noise- induction whine + exhaust !!)Willie's silver 260 ( the one with the commieVL RB30 turbo donk) wasn't able to get to his PB. Yep, where can we get full results. Lakeside and QR still use the natsoft system but for Natsoft to have it on their site, QR has to upload it?? The track attack site shows only up to run 4, of the five runs for the day, and just a name and the quickest singlr lap time. The time sheets that were avail on the day gave the drivers an idea on their consistency with every lap time entered. Yep good day. I'm back there on the 18th Oct Historic racing Car Club Qld is running a one day full race meeting.

think the green z has a supercharged L28
qr results are here http://www.qldraceways.com.au/pdf/1_...riesforweb.pdf i dont think they publish the sprints on natsoft, only the circuit racing. hmm talking about circuit racing I am looking at doing a racing series next year, but sprint rules apply to overtaking on corners ! need to find out who is interested to see if we have the numbers to make it work - see here Last edited by datto510; 04-10-09 at 06:21 AM. |

I've got a half cage in my commodore which has been fine for the top gear race series, however I do feel a little 'naked' when really mixing it with the quicker cars. The standard describes a rops as a device designed to prevent the car landing on your head in such event, so doesn't have to be a CAMS homologated cage, just has to be to a professional standard. But if you think you may want to run in a CAMS event you may want to think about that before forking out for a 'whatever' roll cage. Apparently AASA are logbooking cars now too.

I had a FUCKING AWESOME first time doing this and I'll definitely be back
![]() Managed relatively consistent times I think, with my average being in the 1:20s, fastest (and final) lap of the day being a 1:17.38 and slowest being 1:52.12. Considering I was up against some V8's (since I'm V6TT and AWD) I reckon I didn't do too badly for my debut! Some pics here

Out at QR today.
Great weather and had a trouble free run although they grouped all the 4wd turbo cars together instead of running in fastest groups. Managed to get my pb down to 60.14 which I was extremely happy with. Wanted a 60 now I want a 59!! |

Nice time but whats wrong with running the turbo AWD's all together? I prefer to run with the two wheel production type drivers myself, AWD's and the kit cars sometimes try funny 'passing' moves
