They sure did!! Pitty I didn't "buy up" back then and stash a few to make some coin! Now at auction you are lucky to pick one up for anything under $1000 and I have seen stock ones on bikesales and e-bay going for over $2000.

Long time listener, "first time" caller kinda caper for me mate. I read and gather information and knowledge rather than posting useless things in other peoples threads. I think the other reason the posties are becoming popular again is the "bucket" racing a lot of motorcycle clubs are doing now. Short track, under 140cc and the rest is up to you. Big following up here at Lakeside apparently, guys are buying postie frames and chucking all sorts of wacky motors, usd forks with disk brakes and slicks on to be competitive.
Riding postie bikes is fun with the semi auto gearshifter. Hold the pedal down and the throttle flat mid change then release for epic chirps and giggles.
